Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash costs $0.101/s (checked Nov 5, 2026) of 720p video on the Gemini API; Google itself says about $0.10 a second. In Google Flow a 720p clip costs 7 credits for 4 seconds up to 15 credits for 10 seconds, about $0.24 for 8 seconds on Google AI / Flow Google AI Pro: $19.99/month, 1,000 credits (checked Nov 5, 2026). The per-second figure is derived from tokens.

What Gemini Omni Flash is

Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash (model ID gemini-omni-1.1-flash) is a video generation model on the Gemini API. A public preview started on 2026-06-30 and general availability followed on 2026-08-27. It replaces the Veo 3.1 preview IDs on the Gemini API, which were shut down on 2026-10-22. Veo itself continues on Vertex AI, see Veo 3.1 pricing. Clips run 3 to 10 seconds, and an extension adds 3 to 10 seconds at a time, up to 40 seconds in total. All outputs carry a SynthID watermark.

API price: tokens, not seconds

The Gemini API bills video output in tokens. The numbers Google publishes:

Multiplying, 5,792 tokens times $17.50 per million is about $0.101 per second, which is the $0.101/s (checked Nov 5, 2026) in the tracker. That is derived from the published token rate, and it matches Google's own "approximately $0.10 per second". Token counts for other resolutions are not published on the pages read, so the tracker has no API price for 360p or 1080p. Do not extrapolate. Input tokens (a reference image or an input video) are billed on top, at the lower input rate.

Flow credits

In Flow the price is credits per generation, and it rises with length. Credit value comes from the plan.

720pCreditsCredits per second
4 s71.75
6 s101.67
8 s121.5
10 s151.5

At 360p the cost is lower: 4 credits for 4 s and 7 credits for 10 s. Editing an existing video costs 40 credits for any length. Unlike Veo in Flow, Omni credits grow with length, so there is little reason to pick a longer clip unless you need it. The tier table:

On Pro, 1,000 credits cover about 83 eight-second clips at 720p. Luma Dream Machine also resells Omni Flash and lists up to 370 credits for a 3 to 10 second clip. Whether the free 50 daily Flow credits can be spent on Omni Flash was not confirmed, so check in Flow. More on credits in the Flow guide.

Worked example: one 8-second clip

Worked example: a 30-second video

Three 10-second clips make 30 seconds. At an assumed 50% keeper rate you generate six: 60 seconds of output.

Replace the 50% with your own keeper rate in the cost calculator. Edits, upscales and voice work are extra and not priced here.

How it compares with Veo on the API

Veo 3.1 Fast on Vertex with audio at 720p is $0.10/s (checked Nov 5, 2026), within a cent of Omni Flash. Lite on Vertex is $0.05/s (checked Nov 5, 2026), half the Omni price. On price alone Veo Lite is the cheapest Google route on the API; Omni Flash is the one that is still on the Gemini API. Quality, prompt control and clip length are not compared here.

Verdict

Use Omni Flash through the Gemini API if you are already on that API and Veo calls broke after 2026-10-22. Use Flow credits for manual work, where an 8-second 720p clip is cheap on Pro. If you only want the lowest price per second from Google, price Veo 3.1 Lite on Vertex.
