ClipCost tracks what AI video generation costs. It covers official APIs, app plans with credits, and resellers such as fal.ai and Replicate, and it turns those prices into a comparable number: the cost of a clip you actually keep.

Who it is for

Creators who pay by subscription and want to know how many clips a plan really buys. Marketers and agencies who need a budget for an ad. Developers who choose between a first-party API and a reseller. Each group gets the same table and calculator, and guides that explain the traps in each route.

What it is

What it is not

ClipCost is not affiliated with Google, OpenAI, Kuaishou, ByteDance, Runway, Luma, MiniMax, Alibaba, xAI or any other provider, and it is not endorsed by them. It does not run generation benchmarks or rank output quality, and it does not publish star ratings. Quality varies by prompt and taste, so the site sticks to what can be verified: published prices, limits and dates.

How the data is kept current

Prices are read from official pricing pages and documented reseller listings. The whole dataset is re-checked weekly, and every row shows its own check date. Values that are not published or cannot be confirmed are left empty. Derived numbers, for example a per-second price computed from a per-clip price, are flagged. The full rules are on the methodology page.

How it is funded

The site may earn a commission when you sign up through some provider links. This never changes the prices shown or their order. Details are on the disclosure page.

Corrections

If a price is wrong or out of date, the source link on its row shows where it came from. Corrections are applied in the data file and update every page that uses the price. Related pages: price tracker, cost calculator, price history.
