Higgsfield lists two paid plans: Starter at $19 a month and Plus at $59 a month ($47 billed annually). The pricing page does not publish a credit count or a credits-per-clip table, so you cannot yet compute a dollar price per Seedance clip from it. The break-even below shows how many clips Plus must cover each month to beat paying the Seedance API per clip. This page makes no quality claim.

Last checked . Prices are re-checked every week (planned: Wednesdays). Each row shows its own check date; a row older than 14 days is out of date.

From the plan page:

What is not published: monthly credit totals, credits per video clip, which models are in the unlimited set after the 7-day Seedance 2.5 window, and whether Seedance 2.0 draws on credits. Do not budget a Seedance project from the headline price until you have those on screen.

Break-even against the Seedance API

BytePlus prints its own examples for a 5 s, 16:9 Seedance 2.0 clip: $0.76 at 720p and $1.87 at 1080p. fal.ai bills about twice that at 720p.

Starter $19251113
Plus $59 monthly783239
Plus $47 annual622631

Read the table as: if Plus lets you generate that many Seedance 2.0 clips in a month, the plan costs the same as the API. Beyond that it is cheaper. This counts every attempt, not only the clips you keep: with a 50% keeper rate (an assumption) you need half as many kept clips. Below the number, the API is cheaper.

The break-even only holds if the plan really includes that many clips. Check on the pricing page how many Seedance generations a month your plan covers, and at what resolution and length.

Other plans for the same models

Plan prices divided by the vendor's own video estimates, derived by ClipCost. Clip length, resolution and model mix are not stated in these estimates, so they are rough guides, not per-clip prices.

Lowest-priced paid plan of each service, monthly billing, as listed on the plan pages. Credits are not comparable between services: a credit buys a different amount of video everywhere, so read the price as an entry ticket, not a cost per clip. Kling, Hailuo, Vidu, Sora and Midjourney publish no dollar price the tracker can verify and are left out. Data: ClipCost plan data.

OpenArt Plus $34about 150 videos$0.23
OpenArt Pro $56about 300 videos$0.19

Credit-priced alternatives with a published count for Seedance 2.5 at 720p: BytePlus API $0.231/s; Luma Plus 78 credits per second, about $0.234 per second (derived); Pika 122 credits for 5 s, about $1.36. Higgsfield, Krea and OpenArt are covered in the credits guide.

How to judge any plan

  1. Get the credits per month and credits per clip for the model, resolution and length you will use.
  2. Credit value = plan price / credits per month. Clip price = credits per clip x credit value. Methodology: credit conversion.
  3. Divide by your keeper rate to get the price per usable clip. The default 50% is an assumption you set.
  4. Add the plan price when you will not use all credits; most plans do not roll them over.
  5. Compare with the API price per second for the same model and resolution, for example in the price table.

Runway vs Higgsfield pricing

Runway publishes a credit price per generation and the plan credit totals, so its clip cost is computable: see Kling vs Runway price. Higgsfield publishes plan prices and allowances, so the comparison is a break-even, not a per-clip price.

Is a plan worth it?

  • Pick the API (BytePlus for Seedance) if you generate fewer clips than the break-even in the table, or need a fixed per-clip cost.
  • Pick Plus only when its pricing page confirms an allowance above your break-even and you will use it every month.
  • Pick Starter for light use, only if the 3 unlimited models include one you need.
  • Choose annual billing when you are sure: $47 against $59 a month is a 20% saving.
