Google Flow gives every account 50 credits a day, enough for five 8-second Veo 3.1 Lite clips at 10 credits each. Runway Free gives 125 one-time credits that do not renew. Pika Free has no monthly credits (credit packs only) and, per its pricing page, no watermark but no commercial license. PixVerse, Krea and LTX Studio also list free tiers. What a free tier buys

Using credit tables from the credit guide:

Limits to read before you rely on it

  1. Credits expire or do not exist. Google's daily credits do not roll over, and Runway's are a one-time grant.
  2. License. Several free plans exclude commercial use. See AI video commercial use rules.
  3. Model access. Runway Free gives a selection of models only.
  4. Queue and blocks. Google can block free video generation at certain hours.
  5. Length. Each model has a clip limit, see AI video length limits.

Generators with no sign-up

The tracker does not track "no sign-up" or "completely free" generators. They publish no price or limit pages to verify, and there is no way to confirm watermark or license terms. If you use one, read its terms before you publish anything.

Free is not the same as cheap

If you need more than a few clips, compare paid routes in the calculator or see cheapest AI video generator. The old Sora route is gone, see Sora API alternatives.

Which free tier to start with

Pick Google Flow for steady daily testing, because its credits renew. Pick Runway Free for a one-off try of a few clips. Pick Pika Free only if you will buy credit packs anyway and want clips without a watermark. Do not use any free tier for client work until you have read its license wording.

Questions people ask

Is there a completely free AI video generator?

Daily-credit tiers like Google Flow's 50 credits are free but limited. Nothing in the tracker offers unlimited free generation.

Do free AI video generators have a watermark?

It depends on the provider, and many pages do not say. Pika states its Free exports have none. For Google, Runway Free, PixVerse Basic and Krea the plan pages do not state it.

Which AI video generator gives free credits every day?

Google Flow (50 a day), PixVerse (30 daily on Basic) and Krea (100 units a day).

Can I use free AI videos commercially?

Often not. Pika Free and LTX Studio Free exclude it. See the rules page.
